KOIMPEX S.r.l. was founded in 1981 by Vojmir Kocman, owner of the company. Born as a small import export firm, the company has grown and developed, specializing above all in the sale of machines and systems for the woodworking sector. Kowood, the wood sector, today represents our core business and is the sector that deals with the sale of machines and technologies for the wood industry. For 39 years, we have been a leader in the supply of solutions and consultancy to companies in Eastern Europe operating in the wood industry.
Our offer passes from the analysis of individual realities and needs, through the design of more suitable systems, up to the supply and installation of cutting-edge machines and systems, lines with high technological content and plant integration.
The company, thanks to its widespread presence in the Eastern markets, offers a wide range of diversified services and products, which can satisfy the widest requests.

With nearly 40 years of experience, our company offers technical and commercial support in the main Eastern European countries. Koimpex is now present with its branches and representative offices in Slovenia, Croatia, Macedonia, Belarus and Russia and today boasts a consolidated distribution network in the wood sector.

The company participates every year in the main trade fairs related to the world of wood in Italy, Germany, Russia and Belarus.

Being also the official Koimpex dealer of Biesse Spa, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of machines for the production of wood, we give all our customers the opportunity to participate in exclusive Made in Biesse events, open door events, which allow, to a selected audience, to participate in targeted technology demonstrations, classroom insights and visits to the lines and production plants in Pesaro.
